
DSIMS and DSGS organized the 11th Remsons International Research Conference 2025 on 02 August, 2025, under the aegis of Remsons Centre for Management Research (RCMR). The theme of the Conference was "Building Atmanirbhar Bharat: Strategies for Sustainable Development”.
Chief Patron of the Conference Shri Ashok Saraf, President RSET and Chairman DSIMS & DSGS appreciated the effort of Conference organisers for choosing this apt theme as it will serve as catalyst for transforming changes, paving the way of sustainable future for the world.
Chief Guest Shri Krishna Kejriwal, Chairman and Managing Director Remsons Industries Ltd, delivered an insightful inaugural speech. He shared some strategies to make this Atmanirbhar Bharat vision to be truly transformative and lasting. He talked about Green Industrialization, Empowering MSMEs, women & tribal, Digital inclusion & fintech solutions, Skill India, participation of private players and academic-industry collaboration, building indigenous capability in defence & other sectors etc. Referring towards intergenerational equity, he called for innovation, sustainability and inclusivity to achieve Swatantra Bharat (Sustainable India).
Guest of Honor Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director General, IILM Delhi, presented his Keynote address on Strategies for Sustainable Development: Pathway for a Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat. As a revered academician, he emphasised the role of Business Schools for nurturing the Leaders of 2047. In this context, he explained the four major focus areas- Curriculum Innovation, Thought Leadership, Fostering Entrepreneurship and Industry-Academia Collaboration. He said that Sustainable Development is not a cost but a strategic investment to achieve the twin goals of Development and Self Reliance along with it builds resilience, and creates an equitable society.
After preliminary screening followed by peer review, fifteen selected research papers had been presented by the academicians of various Management Institutes as well Industry professionals. Each of the presented papers caters to the different industries, their sustainable practices and strategies to become self-reliant and grow further.
After each presentation, the Session Chair Dr. Krupa Rai (Associate Professor, KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research and Ph.D guide as well an alumna of Global School in Empirical Research Methods, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland) shared her expert opinions and constructive suggestions to each of the authors. She advised the researchers to be cautious while using Generative AI in their research manuscripts. She also said that logical understanding and soundness of theory is crucial for academic writing.
On the basis of fair evaluation by the blind reviewers and the session chair, two presenters had been chosen as the Best Paper Awardees. Prize money of ten thousand had been awarded to The Best Paper Awardees Mr. Parth Laijawala & Mr. Maneesh Gupta. Mr Sukeshraj Zallare and Dr. Ashish Hattangadi received the second best paper award and prize money of seven thousand.
The Conference was indeed a grand success as there were lot of learning, exchanging intellectual thoughts and ideas throughout the day.
